Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS-Enabled Unisex Sport Watch (Black)
The 110 has only three screens: Time and Date, Chonograph with pace and distance, and Heart Rate with pace and distance. This is all I need - no virtual trainer, no computer generated intervals, none of the stuff I never used with the 405. And you access those beautifully simple screens with simple, reliable, mechanical buttons, not an awful touch screen. Mine did not come with a HR monitor, but it picked up the one I had from the 405 right away. I grabs the satellite quickly, and downloads all the great date to Garmin Connect. Plus, it's a bit smaller than the 405 - looks like a normal sized watch. Great value in a GPS watch.

Garmin Forerunner 210 Water Resistant GPS Enabled Watch without Heart Rate Monitor
I started my search for a GPS watch. I ended up deciding on the Forerunner 210. Since then I have used this consistently with no issues. It has yet to fail me no matter how hot it is outside or how much I sweat. The charging prong system can be a pain to get seated properly and a few times I got up to start my run only to find out the watch did not charge because I didn't verify the connection to the charger. I just got in the habit of ensuring it is indeed charging. I am assuming this is the best charging system to keep the watch water resistant. I have used the software sparingly but all I really concern myself with is my overall distance, pace and elapsed time. For this purpose it works great and I am completely satisfied with it. I highly recommend this product! If anything happens to it I will immediately replace it with the same exact model.
